Catching up on news presented by Dinex in September
The Dinex team had an excellent experience at the Automechanika 2024, and we enjoyed each and every one of the over 200 meetings we conducted with our valued customers, and even more occasional visits and partnership catch-ups, during the highly profiled 5-day event in Frankfurt.
For Dinex, the Automechanika was also an opportunity to present a wide range of new product additions and innovations for the Aftermarket. For the past 40 years it has been our ambition to not only match the OE-level, but to bring additional value in the form of range, availability, technology and quality.
Following this tradition, here are the Top 3 product highlights that Dinex presented during the Automechanika 2024.
New Solutions for Remanufacturing
– For a more Sustainable Aftermarket
Dinex is supporting the Remanufacturing industry in Europe with quality substrates for replacing DOC, SCR and DPF in Euro IV, V and VI silencers. Making top-quality spare parts accessible and affordable is an important part of making the transport industry greener, and to ensure the continued functionality and cleanliness of existing vehicles.
During the Automechanika we presented a number of new additions to our range, such as a new SCR catalyst for DAF XF in a reduced size for more optimal use of space. We also presented a new DPF for a number of Mercedes trucks and busses, based on our own in-house produced Silicon-Carbide ceramic material, for optimum filtration and soot-load capacity.
New Catalogue: Greening & Cleaning
We recognize that there is a “green trend” in the Aftermarket. More and more fleet owners and workshops are realizing that circular economy, remanufacturing and reconditioning, are not only good for climate and environment: It’s often also a good business case.
Dinex is already offering a range of solutions to support this trend, and to give a better overview we have put them all together in our new Greening & Cleaning Catalogue. Available digitally, or as a CO2-neutral print from your local Dinex Sales office, the catalogue is packed with examples of how Greener & Cleaner trucking can become your advantage, and demonstrates the full scope of Dinex solutions for:

From Big-7 to Big-8
Adding Ford F-Max to the Range
Ford’s F-Max truck is becoming increasingly popular in Europe, and with the introduction of our recent Euro VI catalogue earlier this year, we included for the first time also a complete exhaust system for the 2018 model.
At the Automechanika we showcased the DPF and SCR, as well as the front pipe, all soon to be released for sales – and all fully Type Approved – naturally.

Innovative Concept for Euro VI silencers
– Replaceable DOC and SCR
The Automechanika 2024 was also the first event where Dinex presented a new concept for Euro VI silencers where serviceability has been taken to entirely new levels.
Euro VI silencers are designed so that the DPF can be removed for regular cleaning, but they are rarely designed to replace the DOC or SCR substrates. Nor are they designed for internal cleaning in case crystallization occurs, and AdBlue® deposits starts obstructing the flow through the silencer.
In Q4, Dinex is releasing the 2KC010 for Iveco Eurocargo Euro VI models. What’s new about this, except from being all Type Approved, naturally, is that not only the DPF, but also the DOC and SCR can be removed and replaced, without the use of cutting or welding.
This probably makes the 2KC010 the most service-friendly silencer for any Euro VI truck on the market, and we are already working on a similar concept for DAF CF and XF trucks for release in 2025.
